#### **1. Warm-Up (10 minutes):**

- Teacher displays flashcards with sight words.
- Students read the words out loud as a class.
- The teacher may ask individual students to read a word for individualized assessment.
#### **2. Introduction to Fluency (5 minutes):**
- **Discussion:**
- Explain what fluency means (reading smoothly, with expression, and at a good pace).
- Discuss why fluency is important (helps with understanding the story, makes reading more enjoyable).
#### **3. Model Fluent Reading (10 minutes):**
- **Activity:**
- Teacher reads a short story/passage aloud, demonstrating fluent reading.
- Ensure to read with proper expression, pace, and accuracy.
- Discuss what the students noticed about the teacher’s reading (expression, no long pauses, etc.).
#### **4. Guided Practice (15 minutes):**

#### **5. Partner Reading (10 minutes):**
